2 balls cotton thread (I used Cannon cotton threads, 1 ball no.MB010,lt.salmon pink, 1 ball no. MB089,dk.salmon pink)
size 0/6 (3.50mm.) hook
tapestry needle for finishing
Abbreviations
ss = slip stitch sc = single crochet dc = double crochet
st = stitch ch = chain
Gauge: 11 dc and 5 rows in dc = 2 inches
Size: 21 1/2 inches (small to medium)
Instructions
With size 0/6 hook and 2 strands of cotton, working in rounds, start with ch 5, ss to form ring.
Rnd 1: Alternating colors per round, Ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), 14 dc in ring. (15 sts) Note: Always join rounds with ss.
Rnd 2: 2 dc in each st. (30 sts)
Rnd 3: (1 dc in 1st st, 2 dc in next) rep. around. (45 sts)
Rnd 4: (1 dc in each of next 2 sts, 2 dc in next) rep. around. (60 sts)
Rnd 5: (1 dc in each of next 3 sts, 2 dc in next) rep. around. (75 sts)
Rnd 6: (1 dc in each of next 4 sts, 2 dc in next) rep. around. (90 sts)
Rnd 7: (1 dc in each of next 5 sts, 2 dc in next) rep. around. (105 sts)
Rnd 8: dc in each dc around. (105 sts)
Rnd 9: Sc in each dc around. (105 sts)
Rnd 10: Dc around, increase 1 dc every 15 sts (112 sts)
Rnd 11: Sc in each dc around. (112 sts)
Rnd 12: Dc around, increase 1 dc every 28 sts (116 sts)
Rnd 13: Sc in each dc around. (116 sts)
Rnd 14: Dc in each sc around. (116 sts)
Rnd 15 - 24: Repeat rnds 13 – 14. (116 sts)
Rnd 25: Sc in each dc around. (116 sts)
Rnd 26: ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc around.
FASTEN OFF. Weave in ends with needle.
